Lawrence & Schiller opens for business when Craig Lawrence and Paul Schiller officially land their first client.
Fast forward 36 years, six months and 20 days.
November 30, 2012.
Paul and Craig officially retire from the marketing and advertising agency they created.
To commemorate the day Lawrence & Schiller was founded, the agency commissioned renowned sculpture Dale Lamphere to create a piece of art. Standing tall in the lobby of our Sioux Falls office, the “Bolt of Creative Energy” will remind us every day of Paul and Craig, the principles upon which they started L&S and the standards by which it will continue to grow.
“Your past should never be an anchor. It should be a rudder. It should guide and direct you to where you want to go. These guys have guided and directed,” said Scott Lawrence, President and CEO. “This bolt is a great reminder of where we came from and who started it. As a staff we’re extremely thankful. We’re extremely proud of who we are and what we get to do. And you have our commitment that we’ll never forget. Our culture will always be to carry on the name of Lawrence and Schiller.”
Thank you, Paul and Craig. Thank you.
